Native to India and Malaysia, this detailed croton plant comes potted in a distressed teracotta pot. This tropical plant has thick, leathery leaves with variegated, multicolored veins in bright red, orange, and yellow. Because of its humid origins, this plant enjoys a warmer environment and will only need water when the soil begins to dry out.
This plant is PET TOXIC: If you suspect your pet may have ingested a potentially toxic substance, call the Poison Control Center at (800) 222-1222 or contact your local veterinarian as soon as possible.

Water Weekly: Allow my potting mix to dry out completely between waterings.
Indirect Light: I do best with bright to medium indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light. Make sure I’m not in intense, direct sunlight.
About Your Croton Petra: I’m one of the most colorful options you’ll find! I’m not the easiest of plants though. Be sure that I completely dry out between waterings but don’t underwater me either. If you see my leaves drooping it’s probably because I’m being over watered.
