Description
Deep glossy foliage cuts a striking contrast against organic pottery with The Laquered Leaves. The Ficus Elastica Burgundy (AKA Rubber Plant) makes a rich but understated accent for any space, especially in this slightly textured earthenware vessel.
Light: Ficus Elastica (Rubber Plants) typically need bright, indirect sunlight to thrive. Think of a windowsill or accent table in a room facing south or west (or ideally South-West) that receives several hours of bright light each day.Â
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is nearly dry to the touch. You'll want to test the soil for water 2-3 times a week to learn about how often the soil becomes dry.Â
Fun Fact: This is a Ficus Elastica Burgundy, so named for its deeply colored foliage, which has tinges of deep red, and for its baby leaves which emerge with a bright red color before becoming much darker.
